Chapter 19: Curtains Close, Results Revealed!

Yeah, this is an insane plan. I stepped out from the bushes, and I took a few steps closer to the still-dazed rhino. I raised my staff and created a snowball, now, this will be the ‘insane’ part. I took a deep breath, swung my arm as quietly as possible, and threw the snowball, at the Pyro. The snowball hit it right in the booty. The rhino roared and turned around to face me (which is the direction of where the snowball had come from, because I am the one who threw it). I think that steam is flowing out from the rhino’s nostrils, blood vessels had started to appear on its face, I had succeeded in triggering it. I turned to Eloise, who was staring at us, and she is probably thinking of something like, Yeah, he’s an idiot. And I agree with that thought. I faced the rhino, “That’s right! I threw that snowball at you ! And I’m proud of it!” I yelled at the gigantic being. Actually, I’m not proud of throwing snowballs at endangered mammals. The rhino stomped its hooves, it let ou...

Chapter 18: Making Through the Night!

“What do you think of Edward’s performance, Claude?” Claude was sitting on a special seat next to Trad and Owen. The servants told them that these seats are only for the Twelve Protectors only. And they mention that if anyone who isn’t a member of the Twelve Protectors sits on this seat, they will be given a harsh punishment . That is a really weird reason to punish someone. “You’re his master, right? Owen asked, “Do you think he will be able to handle the pressure that is waiting for him?” Claude spun his staff once, and turned to Owen. “Owen, that, is the future, no one knows, other than the gods, what will happen in the future. The future is yet to happen, we should focus on the present.” Owen scratched his chin, “Alright then, you don’t have to give a mini-speech about that.” “I don’t mind that.” Trad said, “Claude’s speeches are mostly the ones that will give all of us motivation. After all, he is currently the King of Paxsalam.” Trad raised his mini-binoculars closer to h...

Chapter 17: Enter the Hill of Perils!

Do you guys hate early dinners? Because that’s what happened to us, we were all told to have dinner at five in the evening. I know there will be a few of you folks that do have dinners at early times like at five or six. But you can do so much during those times instead of having dinner. I remembered that Claude and I were also forced to eat early sometimes when I was at a really young age. My mother would mostly call us to be at the dinning area in the evening, which I would mostly play with balls with Claude at those times. “Come on! Just three more minutes!” I would usually shout these back at her, but they would still refuse to give us those precious three minutes and… boy, I do miss them very much, our whole kingdom does. Again, I sat with Felix and Aisha, and we were discussing (quietly) about what the final game could be. “Yuck!” Aisha exclaimed as she turned to her right, there were a group of girls sitting together, chatting and laughing at jokes that they told each o...
